Smile Confidently With Invisalign
Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of clear, removable aligners, offering results similar to traditional orthodontic treatment but in a more discreet way.
The aligners work by gently applying controlled pressure to different areas of your mouth throughout your treatment.
Invisalign is an excellent option for children, teens and adults who want a more discreet, lower-profile look and the convenience of removable aligners.
Because the aligners are clear, they’re nearly invisible in your mouth. And since they’re removable, you can enjoy your favorite foods and easily brush and floss afterward to maintain your oral health.

Features of Invisalign Treatment
Invisalign offers several features that can make your orthodontic treatment easier and more convenient.
Smooth Construction
Invisalign aligners are made from smooth, comfortable material, so you won’t have to deal with irritation from wires or brackets.
The aligners are made with USP Class VI medical-grade, high-molecular-weight polyurethane resins that are BPA free.
Low-Profile Esthetics
If you’re looking for a more discreet way to straighten your teeth, Invisalign can be an excellent choice.
The aligners are made from clear, lightweight material, making them nearly invisible when worn. Most people won’t even notice you have them on.
Removable Aligners
Since Invisalign aligners are removable, you can take them out for meals and still enjoy all your favorite foods.
You can also remove them to brush and floss, so keeping up with your oral hygiene is as easy as always.
No Adjustment Appointments Needed
Invisalign aligners don’t require manual adjustments. You simply move to the next set in your series as directed by your orthodontist.
You’ll still come in for regular checkups to track your progress, but you’ll spend less time in adjustment appointments compared with traditional braces.
Digital Impressions with iTero™
Our orthodontist uses the iTero 3D scanner to take digital impressions of your smile – and show you your projected results – in preparation for Invisalign treatment.
iTero impressions are minimally intrusive and don't require any goopy impression material like physical impressions do.
The Invisalign Treatment Process
Wondering how it all works? Find out what to expect throughout your orthodontic treatment with Invisalign aligners.
Initial Consultation
During your initial consultation, your orthodontist will examine your teeth and take imaging to evaluate your oral health needs. They will then create a custom treatment plan tailored just for you and answer any questions you may have about the process or costs associated with Invisalign.
The Treatment Plan
Using your exam and digital scan, your orthodontist will create a detailed Invisalign treatment plan. This plan outlines how your teeth will move at each stage and estimates how long your treatment will take. Your custom aligners are then made by Invisalign using advanced 3D printing technology.
Wearing Your Aligners
During your treatment, you’ll wear your aligners every day, removing them for no more than two hours total each day to eat, brush, and floss. About every two weeks, or as instructed by your orthodontist, you’ll switch to the next aligner in your series. Gradually, you’ll watch your smile take shape as your teeth move into their new positions.
Appointments With Us
During your Invisalign treatment, you’ll visit our office periodically for checkups.
At these appointments, your orthodontist will review your progress and make any necessary updates to your treatment plan. It’s also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your Invisalign journey.
Enjoy & Maintain
You've made it to the end of treatment – congratulations! It's time to enjoy your straighter, healthier smile. At your final Invisalign appointment with your orthodontist, we'll review the progress your smile has made. Your orthodontist will prescribe retainers to maintain your teeth in their current positions.

-
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign orthodontic treatment is a series of clear, custom aligners that straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets.
Using advanced 3D computer imaging technology, we will create a treatment plan based on your unique smile.
Your Invisalign aligners will then be manufactured to fit your teeth precisely during each stage of the treatment process.
- What are the primary features of Invisalign?
-
How does Invisalign work?
Your Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear plastic aligners, each designed to move your teeth in small, precise increments. You’ll typically wear each aligner for about two weeks, or as your orthodontist recommends, before moving on to the next one in the series.
You’ll continue through the series until your teeth reach their final, straightened positions.
-
How much does Invisalign cost?
The cost of Invisalign orthodontic treatment will depend on the severity of your orthodontic condition and how many aligners you'll need to correct it. The more severe or complex the misalignment is, the more aligners you'll need, and the more your treatment will cost.
Concerns about cost are completely understandable. We offer dental financing and flexible payment plans to help you manage your budget for orthodontic treatment.
-
How many sets of aligners will I need?
How long treatment takes depends on the type and severity of your misalignment, as every case is different.
After a thorough evaluation of your bite during your initial consultation, your orthodontist can give you a personalized estimate of your treatment timeline.
-
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Your orthodontist will give you an estimate for how long your Invisalign treatment will take based on your individual orthodontic needs.
The length of treatment depends on the type and severity of your misalignment, which determines how much your teeth need to move and how many aligners will be required to achieve the desired results.
-
What are Invisalign aligners made of?
Invisalign aligners are made with USP Class VI medical-grade, high-molecular-weight polyurethane resins that are BPA-free.
-
Can adults use Invisalign?
Yes! Almost anyone with healthy teeth and gums is a potential candidate for Invisalign.
Many adults these days are opting to undergo orthodontic treatment with Invisalign aligners because of their discreet look, and the convenience of being able to remove them to eat, and to brush and floss.
-
Can teenagers use Invisalign?
Yes! Teens certainly can be candidates for Invisalign. In fact, Invisalign offers Invisalign Teen, a product line that is designed to meet the unique needs of teenagers.
Invisalign Teen aligners have two primary features that make them distinct from standard Invisalign aligners. They have compliance indicators on them (tiny blue dots that fade away after the aligners have been worn consistently for two weeks) to help teens keep track of their treatment and when the aligners need to be changed out.
They also come with eruption tabs for tweens and younger teens whose adult teeth are still in the process of growing in. These provide space for second molars and prevent them from growing crooked.
-
Can children use Invisalign?
Yes, Invisalign has a product line called Invisalign First that can be used on kids as young as seven in some cases.
Compared to standard Invisalign aligners, Invisalign First aligners have a smaller construction to fit baby teeth. They also have an Eruption Compensation feature that allows them to accommodate baby teeth falling out and adult teeth growing in seamlessly.
-
How will Invisalign fit my lifestyle?
Like any orthodontic treatment, Invisalign takes a little getting used to at first, but can fit easily into your daily routine.
The aligners can be removed whenever you need to eat, drink, brush, or floss. That means there are no dietary restrictions associated with their use, and no changes need to be made to your normal oral hygiene routine.
Made from lightweight, clear plastic, Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible when worn, so your treatment is discreet and noticeable mostly to you.
-
How often do I have to visit the orthodontist with Invisalign?
During your Invisalign treatment, you’ll visit the orthodontist about every 12 weeks or so for checkups to track your progress. If any refinements or adjustments to your treatment plan are needed, a few extra visits may be required.
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners don’t need tightening or adjustments. Because you simply move on to the next set of aligners as your orthodontist directs, there are fewer in-office appointments.
-
How often do I have to change my Invisalign aligners?
At the start of your treatment, your orthodontist will let you know how often to switch to a new set of aligners. While it can vary from patient to patient, most people change their aligners about every two weeks.
-
Are there any food or drink restrictions?
Because you can remove your aligners to eat, there are no major dietary restrictions during Invisalign treatment.
We do recommend taking them out for drinks other than water to prevent staining and avoid trapping sugars and acids against your teeth.
-
How do I clean my aligners?
Keeping your Invisalign aligners clean involves a few simple steps.
Rinse them each time you take them out to remove saliva and plaque. You should also clean your aligners thoroughly once a day using a soft toothbrush, clear antibacterial soap, and cool water. Brush gently to avoid scratches, rinse off the soap, and you’re done.
It’s also important to make sure your teeth are clean before putting the aligners back in. Brush and floss after every meal to remove food particles. This helps to prevent bad breath, cavities, and gum issues.
-
How do I store my aligners?
You should store your Invisalign aligners in the case they come with any time they're not in your mouth. This will keep them safe and clean until it's time to put them back in.
-
Can I play sports with Invisalign?
Invisalign aligners are removable, so you can play sports without worrying about damaging them.
To keep your treatment on track, though, the aligners need to be worn for at least 22 hours a day, or as your orthodontist directs, so plan your activities accordingly.
It’s also important to wear a sports mouth guard. As your teeth shift during treatment, they can be slightly more vulnerable, and a mouth guard helps protect them while you play.
-
Can I play my woodwind or brass instrument with Invisalign?
Yes! Simply remove your aligners to play your instrument, and pop them back in when you're done.
Keep in mind that you must keep your Invisalign aligners in for about 22 hours a day (or as prescribed by your orthodontist), so be sure to plan your practice time carefully.
-
Invisalign vs. braces: which is right for me?
Both Invisalign and braces are effective ways to straighten teeth, but each has differences that may make one a better fit depending on your needs.
When choosing between them, consider factors such as appearance, your lifestyle and preferences, cost, and the type and severity of your misalignment. Your orthodontist will review your specific case and recommend the option that’s best for you. You can learn more here.
